Tonight the daycare held a balloon release for a memorial to the girls that passed Monday night. I left our son with Todd and went to help hand out balloons to the attendees. Our daycare is amazing and their care and compassion for all of the children never ceases to amaze me. It was amazing to see all of the people in the parking lot with balloons for the sweet, little girls. What a sweet and beautiful tribute to their short and sweet time on this Earth. Hug your loved ones – life truly does take unexpected turns.
We met up with a few families at a pizza restaurant around the corner. New York Pizza Pasta hit the spot. It was nice to be out with other people, to talk out what had unraveled over the week and to eat good pizza and drink a good glass of wine. It had been awhile since we were out with other people, it was long overdue!
