Baking anyone? I think Chippy has witnessed my whirlwind Gingersnap baking-athon. So far, two batches have been made with the intent of taking a dozen to each of Reese’s teachers. Each batch has made 7+ dozen. I’ll need to take 8 dozen to school and bake more for all the folks at work – yikes, I’m going to need more flour and molasses!
Today was Reese’s last day of school until the second week of January. He started the day at school with hot chocolate and watching The Polar Express. Then, the class went back to their homeroom and performed their Reader’s Theater with the story of Christmas – Reese was Caesar. Then they had a McDonald’s pancake breakfast, followed by Christmas bingo, a sock exchange, Little Debbie Christmas Trees (buy those early if you ever need them), and sweet treats to take home. Whew! All before 11 AM!
