Chippy revisited the mantel today sans the boots. Maybe he wanted to make sure Mimi’s stocking was safe and secure. It’s our first Christmas without Mimi but I know she’s happy to finally be celebrating with those in Heaven she has missed for so many years.

Four batches of cookies later… plus some sweet treats Todd and I received from co-workers. This looks like a job for stretchy pants!

Reese and I were left to our own devices this evening. I saw someone on Instagram make a Candy Cane pizza using Pillsbury Crescent Rolls. Challenge accepted and I believe was a win!

Reese was good with it as long as I removed the salad. One day he’ll appreciate my basil garnish!
